Second Saturday | Mother’s Day Mercado

Join Main Plaza Conservancy’s Second Saturday event on May 13 for a special Mother’s Day Mercado! Enjoy FREE wine tasting, kids’ crafts, a pop-up Mercado, and live music by the Primetime Trio.

Sunday Yoga At The Good Kind
When: Sunday, May 14, 10 a.m. – 11 a.m. 
Where: 1127 S St Mary’s St
Cost: FREE

Bring mom (and your yoga mat) and relax and recharge during Sunday Yoga in the garden at The Good Kind. 🧘‍♀️ Stay for brunch (for purchase) after class.

A Morning for Moms & Littles!
When: Saturday, May 13, 9:30 a.m. – 1 p.m. 
Where: 233 Bushnell Ave
COST: FREE

Landa Gardens Conservancy is hosting a special Mother’s Day event with free coffee and treats (while supplies last), a mini performance of Sleeping Beauty by trained ballerinas from The Ballet Conservatory of South Texas, a short mini-ballet class for children of all ages to follow the performance, and an eco-friendly craft station where littles can make gifts for mom. Bring a blanket, water, and snacks, and wear comfortable clothing. RSVP recommended, but not required.

Artesania Latina Market: Mami & Mimosas
When: Saturday, May 13, 10:00 a.m. to 4 p.m. 
Where: 108 Blue Star
Cost: FREE Entrance 

Enjoy a day at Brick at Bluestar for a day of mimosas and shopping with your mami! The first 15 moms to come shop the indoor market featuring 30+ local, women-owned businesses will get a free mimosa! Take photos with your mami or abuelita at a special photo backdrop and enjoy some great music.

Mother’s Day Market at SoFlo
When: Saturday, May 13, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Where: 1344 S. Flores
Cost: FREE Entrance

Shop the day away and spoil mom at SoFlo Market, featuring over 90 great artists, makersand vendors who will be selling special products for Mother’s Day, including unique handmade creations, local homegrown products, and special vintage finds! Come taste savory gourmet food from local food trucks and enjoy live music and a DJ all with a very urban feel! This event is part of Second Saturday Art Walk that happens at the Southtown/South Flores Art District.
